What this notice covers

This notice covers two things: the public Lenar website at lenar-landing.vercel.app, and the Lenar student app. Both are operated by Lawal Victor.

The website itself does not create accounts, accept uploads, take payments or connect to a student account; its previews use sample content. The app sections explain what changes when you sign up and use Lenar.

Information involved in your visit

The page code does not ask for your name, matriculation number, academic records, password or contact details. Notes, schedules and announcements in the previews are fictional examples.

To deliver and secure the website, our hosting provider, Vercel, may process technical request information such as your IP address, browser or device information, requested pages and request timing. This is separate from the sample information displayed on the page.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to include. Please avoid sending passwords, identity documents or unnecessary student records.

Why information is processed

Technical information is used to serve the pages, protect the website and diagnose delivery problems. Contact information is used to respond to your enquiry or privacy request.

Where a lawful basis is required, necessary website operation and security are based on legitimate interests, subject to your rights. We use correspondence to answer the request you make and may retain information where applicable law requires it. Visiting this page is not consent to advertising or unrelated future processing.

Cookies and the interactive previews

Lenar’s page code does not set cookies, use local storage or store demo bookmarks in a database. The selected tabs, filters, saved examples and simulated offline state exist temporarily in the page and reset when it reloads.

No advertising, analytics or device-fingerprinting script is included in this website. Fonts and design assets are served with the site. Hosting security features may handle technical signals under the provider’s practices.

Hosting, email and external links

Vercel hosts this website. Its infrastructure may process information outside your country. Read Vercel’s Privacy Notice for its handling of technical data and international processing.

Our public contact address uses Gmail. Sending us an email also involves your email provider and Google’s email infrastructure; Google’s Privacy Policy describes its practices.

We do not sell personal information collected through this website or use the demo interactions for advertising profiles. External links have their own privacy practices.

Retention and security

There is no student account database for this public site. Hosting records follow the provider’s applicable retention and security arrangements. We keep enquiries only for as long as needed to respond, handle follow-up and meet applicable legal requirements; we do not promise a fixed hosting-log deletion period that we cannot verify.

The site is served over HTTPS. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please send only the information needed for your enquiry.

Your Lenar app account

The Lenar app is not publicly released yet. The sections below describe how it is built to handle your information, so you can read them before you sign up. We will update them before release if anything changes.

To create an account you give an email address and a password. Your password is stored only in a one-way hashed form that we cannot read. We send a short code to verify your email; the code is stored hashed and expires.

To join your class you add your first and last name, matriculation number, university and level. An authorised reviewer (an Admin or your community Leader) uses these details to confirm you are a student and place you in the right community. If your request is rejected, the reason is recorded and shown to you. A phone number or short bio is stored only if you choose to add one.

We use this information to provide the service you sign up for, to decide what you are allowed to see, and to keep the platform secure and accountable.

Materials and activity in the app

When you upload a material, we store the file with its course, week and context message. Files are checked for malware before they are kept. A Leader or Manager reviews uploads from members before your class can see them.

Other students do not see who uploaded a material. We keep the uploader’s name, matriculation number and account in a private audit record so that misuse can be investigated.

We also store the ratings you give, the notifications sent to you and whether you have read them. Approvals, rejections, role changes and other privileged actions are recorded in audit logs.

On your device

When you sign in, the app keeps a sign-in token in your device’s secure storage. Our servers keep only a hashed copy, and signing out ends that session.

Materials you download for offline reading are saved on that device. They stay there until you remove them or uninstall the app; downloaded copies are not copied to your other devices.

If you allow notifications, the app registers a push token with Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging. Push delivery is not switched on yet. When it is, notifications will carry only a short message, and opening one still requires you to be signed in.

Who can see app information

Your community sees approved materials and the class information meant for it. Reviewers see the details their role needs: onboarding details for approval, or pending uploads for review. The operator can access data to run, secure and support the service.

Providers that run the service process data on our behalf. Uploaded files are planned to be stored with Cloudflare R2, and push notifications use Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging. We will name the app’s hosting and email providers before public release. Providers receive only what they need; push messages never include your password, files or profile details.

We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

How long app data is kept

Your account information is kept while your account is open. Approved materials stay available to later classes in the same course, which is part of how Lenar works. Files that are rejected or removed are deleted from storage once nothing uses them.

If an account is suspended or closed, its sign-in sessions end. Some records, such as audit logs, may be kept where needed for security or legal reasons. Exact retention periods have not been finalised; we will publish them here before public release.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request information about processing, access to personal information, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to processing. These rights can be subject to legal limits. If processing ever relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.

Send requests to Lawalvictor304@gmail.com. We may ask for only the information necessary to identify the relevant correspondence or request. In the app, you can update your profile details yourself; to close your account or ask for your data to be deleted, email us. You may also raise a concern with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission where Nigerian data protection law applies.

Changes and contact

We will update this notice when the site’s processing changes and show the updated date. New account, upload, tracking or marketing features require their own accurate disclosures and any required choices.
